Sky's Past~

Best Day Ever~

"Mommy!" I giggle and ran to my sweet mother. She smiles and picks me up. Making my brown long hair fall into my eyes.
"Sky. Your hair!" My mother chuckled and move my hair out of my face. I smile happily and giggle once more.
"Thanks mama!"
"Of course, honey."
"When is daddy going to be home?" I cock my head to the right a little, eager to know where he is.
"He will be home soon. Now go get ready for gymnastics." She assures me. I smile and nod.
"Yay!" I jump out of her arms, and land on my feet. I ran to my room, and grabbed my bright pink gymnastics outfit. I pulled my blue shirt off, and slipped my shorts off. I was only 8, so I was very flexible. I smile happily, and slipped my pink outfit on. I plopped on the ground, and slipped on my black slip on shoes.
"Mama! Can you pull my hair up!" I called out.
"Of course, sweetie," she says, as she was walking in my pink, and blue room. My two favorite colors. She walks over to my blue dresser, and picked up my pink, and blue hairbrush. She then grabs a hair band, then sits on the floor with me.
"Okay. Your hair is tangled, so hold still." She sighs and stands to brush my hair gentle as possible.

When she finished with my two pigtails, we were in the car, on the way to my gymnastics. I kick my legs, bored as ever.
"Mama? Are we there yet?" I whine.
"Yes actually." She smiles and pulls up into a parking space. I quickly unbuckled, and opened my door. I got out of the car, and ran to the front door.
"Bye mama!" I kiss her cheek, as she walked to the front with me, and I quickly ran to my teacher.

This is the best day ever.
