Chapter one

Flamingwhisper stepped back as Snowytree's kits raced pass him. "Watch where your going!" Snowytrees scolded her kits, "sorry". Flamingwhisper nodded, and let out a amused snort.
Flamewind came in through the thorn barrier, the kits rushed over to their father. "Daddy! Daddy!" they squealed, Flamewind played with them by letting them wrestle all over him. A shadow fell across Flamingwhisper's face, his kits had never done such a thing. Oh how he wished he had that connection, but ever since he fell in love with Hollowfur, they treated him with hatred.
Sunsoul had told him that it was ok, saying that she had never been the mate that Hollowfur could be. She had admitted that she had liked the Sky Clan cat on the journey, Rabbitflight. Flamingwhisper felt betrayed at first, but soon understood how Sunsoul felt, and left the conversion with a "sorry".
His Den mate soon became to love him, and him soon falling for her. Mudpaw and Burnpaw felt that their father was betraying their dead mother, and turned on him.
Flamingwhisper understood how they felt, but didn't know if his kits would believe that their mother had visited him.
Shaking his head to clear the memories, he went to talk to Snowfeather. As he entered her den she called out, "hello Flamingwhisper, I've got news". "Ah well that's why I came" Flamingwhisper smiled. "Well you've got Frost Clan now, more then half in Forest Clan" the medicine cat meowed, "Flame Clan is basically against us". "Basically?" he looked at her puzzled. "We've got their Medicine cat" Snowfeather responded, "Fallingcloud is working with the tiger". Flamingwhisper nodded, then asked, "can we use the Moonstone tonight?". "Of course" she meowed, "whelp I've got a lot a work to do". "Course" Flamingwhisper meowed and walked out.
He told the news to Hollowfur, who passed on to the rest of the cats in their army. Rainpaw raced away to pass it to the other clans. First telling Cloud Clan, then telling Frost Clan.
Volestar watched as the apprentice ran out of the thorn barrier, getting a bit supious. 'Well he's been doing this every half moon now, I'll check on what he's been doing' thought Volestar, as he rose up from his nest. "Thornpelt I leave you in charge, I'm gonna take a walk" he whispered to the brown warrior as he raced pass. Thornpelt nodded, and went to the top of the High Rock. "Volestar is taking a walk" he announced. Flamingwhisper felt him stiffen and his army.
