So, tell me...

So, tell me...

Yup, I know the drawing isn't very good but I tried so I'm proud it actually looks like how I imagined Adila.

The drawing itself is Yuki from the movie 'Wolf Children'.
If you haven't seen that AWESOME movie, then what are you still doing here? GO, drop this pretty sucky story and GO watch that AMAZING movie.
Seriously, you won't be dissapointed by it's AWESOMENESS >^<

*coughs* Oke, now that 99,9% are gone watching that AMAZINGLY AWESOME movie, the rest 0,1% can continue reading my story.

Happy reading :3

*Gasp*

Adila woke up, sweat covering her little body, as she started to freak out and look everywhere.

The wolf, Wafiya, also woke up, confused with the sudden noise and became even more confused seeing a little girl gabbing her fur for her dear life.

She stared at the little thing as it began calming down.

Adila took a shakingly deep breath and tried concentrating why she freaked out.

"Are you oke?"

Adila looked up, confused for a moment who spoke, till she remembered and calmed down once more.

She took another deep breath and thought up a responce.

"Yes, I think so..."

Adila notised her little hands still holding the fur and carefully let go.

"I am sorry, did I wake you up?"

The wolf nodded but afterwards gave a vocal responce.

"Yes, but do not worry about it, I am fine... Are you fine?"

Wafiya looked at the girl's thoughtful expression for a while.

"I think so... I-I had this, thought, that was very, not nice..."
She said a bit shaken.

"That is called a 'nightmare', it is a scary dream." Wafiya corrected, then urged the girl to continue.

"Umh, O-oke..." She said, then stared at the fur before finally continueing.
"Well, what I can remember is that, I was in the dark, and then I started walking.
The ground was very hard, and I saw I had something wrapped around my feet, they were blue and I almost tripped wearing them...
I was also wearing, something like what I am wearing now"
She pointed at her dress.
"And, I felt taller, a lot taller then I am now...
I walked to where the light came from.
I stopped under it and saw that, it was like, like a little sun, stuck to, a stick, but not one of a tree...
And, there was something under it that, very weird, I understood.
It said something like, 'British lane in, something, meters', I didn't really understand what it meant.
I suddenly walked away from the little sun, to another little sun, very fast...
And I kept going like that for a while, till I suddenly got pushed somewhere even darker and hit the ground. The person that pushed me was even bigger then me, and I felt very scared.
He told me I could not scream or call, and I had to pay for something, I did not know what but he kept saying it finally found me and that I needed to pay.
He kept saying stuff in a scary voice t-that I, that I-"
She stopped telling as she started breathing very fast and shakened, grabbing the fur once more in a tight hold.

She felt something warm on her head and she started calming down again.
She looked up to see that Wafiya put her paw on her head again, not in praise this time as she looked very concerned.

Adila took another breath, letting go of the fur and continued.
"... he grabbed something sharp, and walked to me, very slowly.
I heared myself keep saying something, but I hardly understood, I-it felt like, like I was there, but was not at the same time...
He said something different, then took the sharp thing closer to-"
Adila carefully rubbed her neck with trembeling hands.
"The sharp thing went fast to this and cut it open...
The last thing in, the nightmare, was that, I said sorry, and fell down..."

Adila took another deep breath before she looked at Wafiya hoping she had the answer to this question, just like all her other questions.

Wafiya looked back at her, less concern on her face but seems to be thinking of something.

"I see, that must have been a terrible nightmare..." Wafiya started, not quite sure what else to say.

An akward silence spread before Adila understood she had to ask the questions more focused on a thing to she wants to ask to get answers.

"Umh, will he and the sharp thing come find me?..." She really hoped not but wasn't sure.

Wafiya thought about it for a moment while taking her paw back from Adila's head.

"From how you explained the suroundings in your nightmare I do not think so, here we do not have tiny suns stuck on sticks. We have fire, but doesn't seem to be the case."

Adila looked around, looking for the fire Wafiya was talking about but couldn't find it.
Except for the sun that is still in the same place above the sky, but it seemed Wafiya wasn't talking about the sun...

"What do you mean by fire?"

"Umh well you see, fire is like-"

"I know 'what' a fire is, but I do not understand 'where' it is."
Adila said as she still looked around and then faced Wafiya
"Where is the fire you talked about?"

Wafiya looked at her seeming to process the words before an understanding look took over on her face.
"That's because we are still in our soul lane."

Adila tilted her head to the side once again looking very confused.
"But, didn't we talk about souls the day before today?"

"The day before today is called 'yesterday', and yes we did talk about souls yesterday, but that was about how the soul works, today I'm talking about where the souls are able to connect with others"
She said as she showed what she meant by dragging her paw to the suroundings.
"Everyone with a soul is in such a place, surounded by grass and has a tree. But everyone of them has it a bit different, like for example you have me here, and your tree is already grown allot with seems a bit ill."

We looked at the the tree with allot of unnatural looking black spots in it's bark.

"But Wafiya, if every soul is supose to be here, why can't I see any over the grass?"

"Good question, it is because you have no connection to any. If you are born and create relationships you can see them, but that doesn't mean you can connect to their souls aswel. The only one you can very easily connect with is your mate~" she said as she looked dreamily into space.

Adila was happy for the praise but was a bit confused why she suddenly acted like, not her.
"What is a 'mate'?"

Wafiya jumped up looking very happy all of a sudden.
"I am very, very happy you asked. A mate is like that 'special someone' everyone has, like the other half of your soul to make it complete~"

Now Adila was just confused.
"But I thought you were my other half and I was your other half?"

"I did say that didn't I, well it's true you and I are eachothers halves, but that's just one soul.
The other person also has a soul, so it kinda looks like this." She said as she put her paw on the ground and made a circle. She then split the circle in half. And then split one of the halves again, so there were two 1/4 and one 1/2.
"Oke, look, these smaller ones are you and me, and that makes one soul. And here we have the mate with its soul. If it's born human it will have its hole soul for itself, if not it will be splitsed just like how we are. Maybe even splitsed in tree but those are rare. Any questions?"

Adila thought about it for a moment longer before nodding in understanding.

"But, so I won't be born human then?"

"No you will be born as a human, just later you will be able to turn into a wolf with my help. So you will be born as a werewolf."

She nodded as she sat down and looked at her suroundings once more.

"Why are we here in the first place?"

Wafiya looked at where Adila was staring and decided to sit down next to her.

"Because you don't have a body yet in the physical world. It is still being made in the womb of your mother."

Adila just ignored asking what a womb is and just nodded in acceptance.

"And how long will that take?"

"Around 9 months."

Adila looked at her with a questioning tilt of the head.

"One month here in this world is 30 days, or 5 weeks of 6 days. So that makes it 270 days."

Adila nodded again.

"So, we will be in here together for such a long time?"

Now Wafiya looked at her with a questioning face.
"Do you not like me being here with you?"
As she said that she looked a bit rejected.

Adila jumped up wildly shaking her head denying her words.
"No no no no no. It's just that, what are we gonna do for so long?"

Once Wafiya accepted her words did she sit down again.

"Good point." Wafiya said as she thought of possibilities...
"Wait, what if we start training?
You know, making ourself stronger."

Adila thought about it for a moment.
"But why should we make ourself stronger?"

Wafiya only needed a moment thinking.
"For our mate!" She said a bit too excited.

Adila giggled a bit.
"You really like our mate, don't you."

Wafiya stood up skipping around happily
"Ofcourse I am, it will try to make us happy and protect us. But maybe it won't be able to protect us so we will have to be able to protect it." she said looking very determined.

"Oke, but we will both have to work very hard then."

"Ofcourse!"

Then both of them started laughing loudly, atleast Wafiya seemed to be as she kept barking happily.

Wafiya stopped as she suddenly looked very serieus, atleast she tried to be but it didn't really work with a wolves face.
"But first we will start with learning talking and writing languages."

"...Why?"

"Is it not obvious, I will not have our mate not be able to comunicate with us because you couldn't understand it."

Adila looked at her to see if she was joking, but it seemed she wasn't.

"... Okay, but not today since I am too tired to..."

Wafiya sighed before nodding, as they both sat down under the tree looking at the grass sway in the wind...

Okay, that was it, hope you enjoyed, or atleast not hated it.

I know they are kinda having different personalities at different moments, but I haven't set it in stone yet so I'm very sorry for the ones who find it annoying, my apoligies.

If you really want another chapter you can ask, since even though I'm not tired of this story I know for allot of people my motivation doesn't come fast enough, so if asked I will try to force motivation out of my brain.

And I'm trying to make the chapters long to test if I have what it takes to keep writing long chapters.

So thank you for reading and have a nice day :3

Well first of all, I love wolves. Second, I really like mythical stories with magic and mystery. It gives it a deeper meaning to it. I just dont like, I love it. There's nothing I didn't like, plus details makes it much more real.
