Chapter Seven: "Bloody Mess Part 1" Sunrise

I sat alone away from everyone in camp wondering how so many of us have died. I marked three names off the list I made of all of us and sighed. I looked up and saw Jack, Jello, Yamilette, and Samantha. I smiled a little "Okay what do you four want?"

Jello sighed "You're acting exactly like i did. Cut the crap. We're going hunting. We're also going to retrieve Jason's body. Seg's waiting for us at the camp exit. Wanna come with us"

I sighed "Yeah sure I'll come with you. But" I looked at Samantha "She's injured" then I looked at Yamilette "And she's probably never shot a gun or killed anything her entire life."

Jello laughed "You don't need to be perfectly healthy to shoot a gun and Everyone needs to learn somehow. now come on."

I chuckled to myself a bit and stood up following them out of camp. When we were a good ways from camp we started to hear some growling. "what was that?" Seg asked quietly.

At that moment a HUGE panther burst from a bush pinning Yamilette before any of us could interact there was a gunshot and the panther fell dead. We looked where the shot came from and saw Samantha standing there with a straight face. After a few seconds she kept walking while Seg and I helped Yamilette up. "Seg take her back to camp. Whatever that was got her pretty bad." Before any of us could start moving there was a sudden pain in my neck. I reached for it and felt a blow dart. I tried to yell at everyone to run but no words came out as I passed out.

When i woke up I could barely stand and I looked around. I was tied to a post. Across from me I saw Samantha chained to the wall. I looked to my right and Saw Yamilette and Jack tied up. Then I look to my left and see Jello behind bars. When everyone started to wake up a voice called from above. "Good you're all awake. Listen. We are going to raid your camp but our people believe in the right of combat, but for now... There is a gun in that room. The one you call Samantha has a choice. There are two bullets in there that must be used. She can either shoot two of you on the post. Or shoot the girl in the cage. Those who are not dead will have ten minutes to get back to their camp and warn the others. Begin!"

I began to freak out and tried to say something when i realized I was gagged and couldn't do anything. Samantha picked up the gun and was shaking she slowly pointed the gun at Jello then turned it towards Jack and shot him in the head. Tears rolled down her face as the gun shook more. I started to freak out more when I realized that she would either shoot me or Jello since she barely knows either of us. She slowly moved the guns barrel and pointed it towards me and I shook my head frantically. Before I could do anything more she pulled the trigger.
