While not good at fighting, Ash Ketchum has five Pokémon, and those five are: Pikachu: Electric Type, Frogadier: Water Type, Talonflame: Flying, Fire, Hawlucha: Fighting, Flying, Noibat: Flying, Dragon. Ash himself has proven to also fight, and is very caring of his Pokémon.

You forget that Ash's Pikachu survived a shïtstorm of stuff no normal Pokémon could, and Ash can occasionally call on Legendary Pokémon. It usually depends on where tho. Also, Link and Ash might be "Fighters" but they would never. I repeat. NEVER hurt an innocent person.
Okay I might be overreacting because I liked Pikachu and I have a painfully overactive imagination
