Phoenix Isle

My great, great, great grandfather had started telling it to his kids and it became a tradition to tell as a bed time story. I wanted to keep it as original as possible so that whoever reads it would be reading an authentic piece of my history. I really hope that you enjoy reading this story.

Phoenix Isle
Chapter 4.

Legacy of Phoenix Isle

Overall, it was very pretty Island, and most certainly a very deadly one too.  About 4 years after my great great great grandfather's encounter with the Island and its mysteries, he attempted to look for the Island again.  He had an idea of where it was because he had been trying to study it since he got home.  However, he wasn't able to do so.  In fact, it's as if there was no Island in the first place.
He knew that he wasn't crazy and that there was an Island, but he couldn't prove it.  So, he decided to start telling his story to his children.  His children told it to his grand children and so forth.  He did it as a way to keep that memory alive.  He called the story "Phoenix Isle" because of all the unbelievable things that he witnessed on the Island.  He had hoped that one day someone would find the Island again and prove its existence.  That hope is still carried in the family.
