The Uchiha Massacre

The Uchiha Massacre

All I can see,
After closing my eyes,
Red.

Stains,
Too dark to ever fully
Wash away.

Screams,
Echoed from haunting memories,
Long in the past.

Blood,
Staining his hands,
My brother's hands,
As he stands over the body
Of our mother,
In my nightmares.

All alone,
Only known as
"The Survivor".

These halls,
Filled with aching
Recollections.

My brother,
My savior,
Now my enemy.

Everyone died,
The gods sparing me,
For their own cruel purposes.

Vengeance,
Tainting my mind,
As I aim to kill.

A night I do not want
To remember.

A night I cannot,
And will never,
Forget.

Please remember to rate and comment what you think about this poem. Funnily enough, I got the sudden inspiration for it at 3 a.m. in the morning earlier today, after not being able sleep. The reason I wasn't able to sleep was because I read this really depressing and sad fanfic about Itachi, and I couldn't close my eyes without seeing my mental image of "his blood-stained hands gripping her throat so she could have her wish, her wish to finally die". You can see why this may be a problem to have peaceful sleep. Anyway, please rate and comment on this poem, and share it with your friends! Sayounara!~
