The next day, when Autumn woke up she knew something special was going to happen. She just knew it! "I can't wait to see Dawn and Dusk!" Autumn was excited. "Well, someone is up and ready for school! Good morning, Sunshine!" Autumn's mother greeted her in the kitchen. "Yum! Eggs!" Her favorite meal. "Now, eat up and off to school with you. It's going to be a great day!" "I know it is!" Autumn said. She ate her eggs, tasting the heat and pepper combined. "Get dressed and brush your teeth, dear." "Yes, mom." Autumn put on an orange dress and some leggings. She brushed her teeth and rushed out the door. "Bye, mom!" "Goodbye, sweetie!" Dawn and Dusk were waiting on the bus. "Hey D&D!" Autumn called. They looked over. "Autumn!" the twins scooted over for Autumn. "Psst," Autumn whispered, "can you tell me more?" "About what?" Dusk whispered back. "You know, magic?" Autumn said, annoyed. "Oh, that." "What did you think I meant?" "How to tell the difference between us." The twins decided to stop. "Judging by your face," Dawn started, "you want us to be serious." Dusk finished the sentence for her. "Let me show you..." Dawn let her voice drop to a whisper, "the Tree of Earth."
