I'm a Dancer

I'm a Dancer

I'm a dancer at heart,
I'm a dancer at war,
I dance to be happy
and to open another door.

I wanna step out into another world of hope
I wanna step out into another world of competition
I wanna be able to dance and be myself
I wanna dance to show what people have been missing.

When I dance,
I talk with my body
My body speaks things that my lips couldn't
All because I'm what you call a "nobody"

When music speaks,
My body responds
Dance is life
Dance is therapy
Dance is my passion
Dance is what makes me, me. <3


(Author's Note: People ask me what kind of dancer I am, well, I dance to all kinds. I'm a hip hop, salsa, and ballroom dancer. Right now, I'm trying out a little bit of ballet here and there, but not that much lol)
