Turtle tot Raph in trouble
Splinter sighed heavily seeing his children a mess.. Muddy from playing in a puddle of wet dirt in the sewer, even little Venus was messy..Raph ran to his room to hide, hating to take baths. His refusal made Splinter give up.
But locked him out of his room when he came out, and now has to bathe with Venus weither being dragged or coming nicely.
Splinter knelt down to the side of the tub giving Leo, Mikey and Donnie a bath, rinsing them off wrapping their towels around them letting them fend for themselves to dry off and change their bandanas.
He settled little Venus in the tub gently as she giggled playing with the bubbles he put in, setting off to find Raph and let her sit a bit.
"Leonardo have you seen Raphael?" Splinter stopped him from walking out of the kitchen
Little Leo nodded "he's in the dojo tree.."
Splinter patted his head letting him go, and went to the dojo "Raphael, you are getting in the bath. Now."
"No!" Raph frowned
"You are getting bathed now, or no dinner." Splinter scolded
Raph frowned wanting dinner after not getting any lunch.. Growling, jumping down as they went to the bathroom
Glaring when he seen Venus "I don't wanna bathe with Venus!"
"Well its your last chance." Splinter shut locking the door so he couldn't get out
Raph growled when Splinter put him in the tub, staying clear on the other side of the tub from Venus, pouting
Splinter left the bathroom to let them soak alittle, and collect the boy's towels.
Venus giggled looking over at Raph, shifting over, slightly hitting his shell wanting to play, giggling "Raphie,Raphie!"
"Go away." he grumbled
But Venus didn't take it, continuing to hit his shell to get his attention. Slightly splashing
Raph's patience was warring low.. He growled as she wouldn't stop, turning around "Shut up!" he barked as he flipped the lid, slightly splashing some water
Venus jumped back, startled, frightened by his loud angered voice.
Raph glared at her, annoyed
Venus whimpered shifting back to the other side, crying
Raph slightly froze but frowned, thinking. "No,no,no,No." he pointed "Stop. Don't cry." he frowned looking at her
Knowing the consequences of making their little sister cry.. Grounded, how long depending on what you did.
Splinter came back in putting their towels on the drying rack, kneeling down "Shh,sh,shh.." he hushed "What happened?"
She automatically pointed to Raph, sniffling, as her eyes burned
Splinter looked at Raph frowning abit, looking at her "What'd he do?"
"h-he yelled at me, n-and got soap in my-my eyes~!" she rubbed them trying to see better. But aside the tears, the soap was burning her eyes
Splinter grabbed a small rag and got it wet in the sink going over "sh.." He hushed gently wiping off the bubbles from her face getting the best out of it.
It was kinda hard but Splinter managed to get it out, it helped when she was crying, the tears kinda flushed it out
After he was done with that he started to bathe them, Raph wondered what his punishment would be.. 'Stupid bubbles!' He thought
Splinter rinsed off Venus and moved to Raph cleaning him in silence
'Its bad..' He frowned
He lastly scrubbed his shell rinsing him off.
Raph climbed out as Venus tried to follow his lead not able to so Splinter helped getting her out of the tub letting her stand and wrapped Venus up in her towel setting Raph's towel on the sink, looking at him, frowning a bit
"Raphael, you're grounded, 2 days. No dinner tonight."
"W-WHAT?!" Raphael yelped
"Yes. No dinner tonight and you are grounded. For 2 days."
"W-Wait! No!" Raph frowned
"Want to make it 3?" Splinter furrowed his brows
"No! But-" Raph started
"3 days." Splinter frowned
"No! You aren't-!" Raph snarled
"four.." Splinter counted
Raph growled as he wasn't listening
"Listen to-!"
"Five days. I suggest you stop back-talking, Raphael unless you want even longer grounding." Splinter frowned
"No!" Raph growled
"Six. Now go to your room." Splinter pointed
Raph snatched up his towel, going to his room with a hard door slam, locking it. Panting in rage, drying off climbing on his bed, screaming, punching the wall multiple time till his knuckles bled, slowly unballing his fists, seeing the damage, his beak scrunched up, and his eyes slowly started to fill with tears "no-one listens.. They don't care.." he grabbed his face "what's wrong with me?!" he crouched up on his bed by the corner, just crying himself to sleep that night.
3 days in, he's only came out to use the bathroom or eat, and he barely eats, just picking at it before leaving the table being scolded for it.
Shooing anyone and everyone away..
"Stupid Venus's fault!" He growled punching the wall again blaming everything on her. Her fault his stomach hurts and growls half the time, her fault that he's been grounded for 6 days.
Tonight the boys got ice cream, a rare treat, while Raph got nothing for his actions of throwing a fit after he was so close to getting it but..
*flashback*
Raph slightly shoved Mikey after he stormed in cutting in front of Raph and Donnie
"Hey!" Mikey whined
"Wait your turn, runt" he growled
"Runt??" Mikey frowned "wait.. Aren't you grounded?" He pointed
"Shut up." He glared
"Grounded.." Venus repeated
"You stay out too!" Raph pointed at her
Venus slightly blinked but pointed at him
"Don't point at me," he snipped "I haven't done nothin so you stay out of our talk" he growled
She lowered her hand frowning a little "mean.."
"You wanna know who's mean?? You!" He pointed "YOU got me grounded because of your stupid crying! Youre a little brat, you get your way ALL the time just by crying! Mostly ME! EVEN WHEN I HAVENT DONE ANYTHING!" He snarled
Mikey frowned a little thinking she does kinda get Raph in trouble a lot and even HE seen when he didn't do anything yet she cries when he yells. She cried when he was fighting with Leo and Splinter came in on the wrong time when he shouted 'shut up' but it wasn't at Venus. It was at Mikey because he was trying to stop him.
She whimpered with her bottom lip quivering
"Hey,Vee, shh.. He didn't mean it!" Mikey waved his hands to make her stop
"Oh I meant it! She always gets her way and I'm sick of it!" Raph growled
That just made her cry as Raph folded his arms growling not caring anymore because.. Well.. It was the truth. She does get her way by crying.
Splinter came in with the ice cream frowning a little, setting it down on the counter "Venus, what happened?"
Venus pointed over at Raph as Mikey quickly stood in front of him to make it seem she was pointing at him.
Splinter looked over seeing Mikey as he looked innocent "Michelangelo?" He asked looking back at her
She shook her head "R-Raph!"
Splinter looked back seeing that Raph was indeed behind Mikey, frowning "Raphael, do not hide."
"What?!" Raph slightly pushed Mikey away frowning " I wasn't hiding! He stood in front of me!" He pointed
"No sensei, he wasn't hiding!"
"Michelangelo, you do not need to stick up for your brother for his mistakes."
"n-no! Honestly! I stood in front of him!" Mikey retorted
"Enough, Michelangelo." He sighed
"But-!"
"Raphael, I thought you could handle it, now no treat, go to your room."
"SEE THIS YOU LITTLE BRAT! ALWAYS GETTING YOUR WAY!" Raph snarled at Venus but looked at Mikey glaring "Thanks a lot." He growled
Mikey shook his head "I was trying to-"
"Get me in trouble too?! Well it worked! Happy now?!" Raph shouted storming out of the kitchen
*end of flash back*
Making him angry but upset, being he isn't the emotional 1... He is now. Mostly punching the wall, or throwing things or just curling up on his bed crying or sitting far into 1 of the corners of his room..
Leo noticed it. And actually heard him crying last night.. He was really there when the incident happened in the kitchen but was hidden behind the door.
Wanting to do something special for him, and snuck into the kitchen when Splinter went to meditate, getting a bowl and spoon, and got out the ice cream making him a bowl of ice cream, putting it away, and plastered it with chocolate, just how Raph likes..
Sneaking past the dojo with Mikey and Donnie watching tv eating, not paying attention
He went to Raph's room
Raph shivered as his stomach hurt as it growled hard, he winced clutching his stomach, shoving his face in his wet mattress of tears as it practically roared
Leo slowly went in hearing his stomach, and him curled up on his bed, gaping.
"Raph.." he shut the door going over.
Raph looked up but frowned looking back "Go away.." he mumbled
Not mad but... Sad
Leo frowned shaking his head "no.." he went over setting his own on his table holding Raph's scooping up a spoon full, trying to feed it to his as he moved his head away, he wouldn't open his eyes. Finally shoveling it into his mouth Raph slightly lit up at the taste, looking at him, and the bowl of ice cream
"f-for me?" he asked
Leo smiled nodding giving it to him, climbing up on his bed eating their ice cream
"th-thanks.." he mumbled
Leo smiled warmly hearing that, wrapping his arms around his little brother, cuddling him. Normally Raph would forbid hugs and cuddles but for now.. He's allowing it.
Leo kissed the top of his head softly unwrapping from him, and left with their empty bowls, putting them in the sink
He came back covering Raph up with his blankets as he looked at Leo, turning over for bed
"Night Raphie." Leo smiled leaving his room shutting the door. He went to sleep feeling like he did a good thing for his little brother after all the punishment he's getting..
Raph jerked up from a nightmare and tears streaming down his cheeks. Getting up, going to Leo's room, climbing up on his big brothers bed.
Leo woke up yawning seeing Raph "Raph..? W-what are you doing?"
"Nightmare.." Raph mumbled
Leo smiled, lifting the blanket up as Raph scurried under laying next to him.
Leo turned over cuddling up with his little brother. Kissing his forehead before falling asleep.
