The story of Forest

Forest's stagefright

When Webkinz and Forest started walking towards the stage they saw the two twin poodles with tutus on.

"Hey, Forest, go hug a tree or something!" Millie said giggling.

Forest didn't pay any attention to Millie, he kept his head high and walked confidently. As people start to come in for the pet show all the dogs waited behind the curtains.

"I'm so scared, Webkinz." Forest said. "a lot of people will be staring at me!"

"They will be staring at you because you got their attention!" Webkinz said.  "but their is one problem."

"What is it?" Forest asked.

"My boss is one of the judges." Webkinz said. "he was the one who tried to kick you out, if he finds out I didn't do what he said I will be fired."

"Who cares what a old man says?" Forest asked. "you can do whatever you want, your boss can do nothing about it!"

"Welcome to the cutest dog competition!" A women said from outside the curtains. "we will start with a German Shepard puppy named Forest."

"You can do it, Forest." Webkinz said.

Forest smiled then pushed the curtains out of his way with his head. The light hit his face, he felt his legs tremble, and he was ready to chicken out.

"Chicken!" Lilly called out. "get him off the stage!"

Forest felt like crying, but he didn't want to do it in front of everyone so he ran out the doggy and raced to his room. Webkinz ran behind him, by the time Webkinz caught up to Forest he was whimpering and crying.

"what's wrong, Forest?" Webkinz asked. "is it because of what Lilly said? because if it is then I will jam her head in a pipe!

"It's not what Lilly said." Forest responded. "I have stage fright, I get so scared when I speak or act in front of people."

"Don't worry." Webkinz said. "Some humans even got stage fright, your not the only one."

"That makes me a little better." Forest said sniffing. "I'm ready to go back!"

"Good boy!" Webkinz said cheering. "lets see if they will give you another chance."

As they were walking back, Forest had to ask a question.

"Are you sure stage fright is not rare?" He asked.

"Stage fright is very common." Webkinz said. "a lot of people have it."  

"I won't chicken out!" Forest said. "I will teach those poof poodle twins a lesson!"

"That's showing them!" Webkinz said. "I like that you never give up!

"You are such a good friend, Webkinz." Forest said yipping. "I'm so glad you are my friend."

"I'm so glad you are my friend too." Webkinz said. "together we can beat those poodle twins!"

Forest was determined that he can win the first place trophy.
