“Hermia! Hermia!” I heard noises and shouts and sobs. I opened my eyes but the light blinded me. “She’s waking up!! She’s alive!!” My vision was blurred. I could see Rika, Evelyn, people in uniforms… Everyone’s expression showed something bad had happened, I tried to move but my body was numb. My eyes were wide open now, I recognized the ceiling above: the classroom! A cloth covered my body; my clothes were being examined by officials. Sei was next to me and before I fainted again I heard him say: “I’ll definitely get Axel punished! Don’t worry Hermia!!” His voice was shaking and tears welled up in his eyes as he looked at me. Rika was sobbing and wailing saying things would get better. I was brought to a hospital, went through surgeries and was forced to bed rest for months. All this while my family, Rika, Sei and their parents kept supporting me.Everyone smile at me, no one asked me anything so that I may not relive those memories. I had to narrate the event in details to the police, I talked and answered their questions trying to be calm and composed but tears flowed by themselves. I constantly remembered the darkness that prevailed that night. When I could take a bath on my own, I washed and washed and washed myself in a useless attempt to get rid of the feelings I had that time! My skin was burning and it bled again so that mom hugged me tightly in another useless attempt to make me stop crying…
