Chapter 15.

The fall of a loyal man

(No pov)

Jash the unbreakable knight stood staring at what was once his student stare at him with feral eyes the silence consumed the battlefield as crows gathered anticipating their next meal to come soon. Zero the demon was the first to strike tearing a piece of stone from the ground and throwing the boulder following up with a slash to the abdomen. Jash parries the blow smirking then fear consumes the foolish confidence as silver energy emanated from the blade. The blast almost taking his hand off, though Zero seemed to not even care a smile of savagery still plastered on his face, his hand blown off from the explosion, lied twitching still trying to hit Jash with erratic blows of energy. While observing this he failed to hear the muffled steps from behind him as one of the dead recruits bites his ankle attempting to hold him in place. And succeeded as Zero plunged his dagger like nails into his chest and simultaneously sinking his beast like teeth into his shoulder keeping him in place. Then without a shred of doubt tore out his shoulder blade with his teeth, tearing out his intestine with his hand throwing them to the ground. Zero then says "You were a good man but your pride doomed you to this fate. I am not right and not wrong those were lost long ago ,but I fight for what I believe in you have chosen your path and so have I now, farewell."

I like the plot of it! It's very interesting but with all of my other stories I don't I'd be able to take it over. But I would love to read more!
