Chapter 4

*Stella P.O.V.*
Today was absolutely the worst. The kids at school were so mean. When Jacob found out he decided he needed to save his 'reputation' and beat me after school with some of his new friends. The worst part was that Toby will probably stay away from me now. It hurt. I honestly really liked him he was somehow a reassuring figure. I cried all afternoon.
It was around midnight and I was still crying.
"You should stop crying before the room floods." I could tell it was Toby. I didn't turn around to look at him.
"Where were you?"
"I was busy teaching that slut not to mess with you."
"So you killed her." I said.
"Yes. I did." for some reason that made me really happy.

*Toby P.O.V*
"So you killed her" she said. I was worried that she would be scared
"Yes. I did." I was ready for her to recoil in horror but instead she looked up and smiled. Then she screamed.
"Toby, you're hurt." I looked down at my shirt where there was blood seeping through the shirt.
"Hmm. Didn't notice."
"How could you not notice!?" She said as she went into the bath room to grab a first aid kit.
"Well I have Leprosy. I can't really feel pain." Stella started to lift up my shirt but hesitates.
"umm could you?" I nod and take off my shirt. It was cute how innocent and worried she was. then I remembered the way she smiled when I said the girl was dead. Maybe she isn't so innocent. The thought made me like her more.
She laid me down on her bed and began to wipe off the blood.
"The wound's pretty deep. I'll need to stitch it up. Did she have a weapon or something?"
"No. But her Dad had a kitchen knife, he must of got me on my way out." Stella's long, slender fingers started to sew up my stomach. I couldn't feel the needle but I could feel her gentle hands. When she was done with the stitches she got me to sit up. She put a gauze on the wound and wrapped a bandage around me to keep it in place.
"All done." She said.
"Were did you learn all this?"
"Umm. I took a first aid course." I could tell that wasn't the truth but I didn't push her.

*Stella P.O.V.*
I felt so embarrassed. There was a really cute shirtless guy on my bed, who I hardly knew! It was crazy! I felt my face heat up.
"You're so pretty when you blush." I'm pretty sure I went even redder. Toby studied my face. He had taken off his mouthguard and goggles. He twitched a little. It was cute the way he twitched. It took me a while to realise I had my hands on his chest. I was about to move them away when toby put his hand on my face and leaned in. I was shocked when he pressed his lips to mine. I just sat there wide eyed until I finally kissed him back.
