Chapter 3

*Stella P.O.V.*
That Morning I got up thinking about Toby. I had so many questions to ask him but really I just wanted to see him again. For some reason that last encounter made Toby seem kinder. The thought of seeing him again made me blush.
At that moment Jacob walks in.
"You need to get ready for school. What's wrong with your face?" He says seeing me blush.
"Nothing."
Jacob walks out of the room and I start getting ready for school.

A sit as far away from everyone else as I can. I am sitting down drawing in my sketchpad. I am wearing my reading glasses so I can make finer lines. I am drawing Toby. I am perfecting his mouthguard when I hear a familiar voice.
"I never realised how good I looked." Toby says.
I slam the book shut.
"What do you want?" I say secretly happy.
"I was bored so decided to see my new friend."
"You think we are friends?"
"Sure."
"Even though the first time we met you threatened to murder me."
"That's water under the bridge."
"Whatever you say."
"Since when did you wear glasses?"
"What?" Surprised he changed the subject so suddenly.
"I said since when do you wear glasses."
"Since I realised I couldn't see the words when reading."
Toby just chuckled.

*Toby P.O.V.*
God Stella looked beautiful. Now that we were up close I noticed small details that made my head spin. Her skin was pale and freckles dotted her cheeks. her hair was shoulder length. She obviously cut it herself. her eyes were such a dark brown that it was hard to see the pupils. She seemed about 16 and a head shorter than me.
'I shouldn't be thinking like this! I am a murderer. Besides she is like three years younger than you." She looked so innocent how could she possibly hurt a fly let alone a person. What was Slendy thinking? Making her a proxy! She was so gentle and kind.
"Could I have a look at your drawings?"
She blushed. "Sure but they're really bad."
I flipped through the book.
"These are good." That didn't even explain how good they looked. I wanted to look at more when I saw something out of the corner of my eye.
"Oh Crap" I say
"I've gotta go." with that I am off. The reason I left was because what I saw was one of the students looking at us. If the people here found out Stella was friends with me, well I couldn't think about it. I saw the kid walk over to Stella.
"Who were you talking to?" the girl said in a high pitched, annoying voice.
"A friend."
"What was his name?"
"Why would you care?"
"I am just curious."
"His name is Toby."
Oh no! Why did she do that!
The girl started shouted.
"Hey everyone over here." as if on cue a bunch of teenagers run out.
"Did You hear what she just said?! She said she is friends with Ticci Toby!
I could hear people shouting calling her a murderer and friends with Death. That just made me really angry.
