Why does God let bad things happen?The truth is, no one knows why God allows hard things to happen. But here are some things we DO know:
1. God is always in control
No matter what the circumstance, God is in control. He knows what he’s doing.
2. God always does what is right
Anything that God does is good. He always has a reason, even if we can’t see it right away.
How do I know God is real if i can’t see him?
We can’t see lots of things, and yet we know they exist. We can’t see wind, but we know it exists when we feel the breeze on our skin, or see the leaves blow off the trees. Here’s how we know God is real:
1. The Bible says so
The Bible is the word of God, and God can’t lie.
2. The impact he has on our lives
Think of all the times you’ve gotten through a rough time. That was God guiding you!
What does it mean to be a christian?
Being a Christian isn’t as complicated as it sounds! These things are what defines a true Christian:
1. You’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your savior
2. You’ve realized that you’re a sinner
Everyone sins, and we need God to cleanse us of our wrong doings.
3. You know that the only way to heaven is through him
Who is the holy spirit?
Just like God the Father and Jesus, the Holy Spirit is God. Wait, does this mean that there are three Gods? Nope! There’s only one God, and here is the simplest way to explain it.
There is only one God, but he has always existed as three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is in these forms that God reveals himself to us.
What is the gospel?
