The Tour and The Quest
As me and Katt walk down a corridor for what seems like forever she suddenly starts talking. "These are all of the rooms our members train their skills in," she says like a professional. We walk by some more rooms with the doors open. “This is the forgery room where our blacksmiths practice their work” Katt says. We go by another set of rooms where some people are using magic, “These are the spell rooms, where our highly trained wizards go to hone their powers,” She says. “There are all sorts of rooms I could show but that tour would take, who know s how long,” she starts to laugh and I notice that when she does her ears start to twitch and I start laughing with her. “Blessings is a guild that allows people train their skills and make them more powerful, we also have living quarters for the ones without a home,” she says. “There is also a program for certain age groups to learn on the level that is best for them,” she looks at me like she was judging my level of power”.We go through a small hallway and I notice only one door is open. We walk into it and she tells me it is my room and I could live there if I wanted to. “I don’t really have any possessions with me other than shadow here, and he jumps out of my pocket and starts floating in the middle of the room. He starts to grow and stretch into a horse in the small room, then decides that’s a bad idea so he forms into an owl. Katt jumps back and screams when she saw his ability to change form. “Hiya, I’m Shadow Ali’s spirit animal,” He says with what might be a smile, a very deformed one though. I start laughing then I realize Katt is studying Shadow like a kid in a candy store. “Don’t worry he won’t bite… hard,” I say and she steps back. I laugh again, “It’s not funny your new so, I’m just studying,” and she starts laughing too.
She grabs it out of my pocket before I could stop her and she tells me, “This quest is reserved for the master, nobody touches it, looks at it or thinks about it… got it,” She takes on a dark demeanor and sorta scares me how she went from the pink fur ball she is to this black cat of superstition. She immediately goes back to her giddy little self and says I can’t have that one. She skips away and I take the paper back off of the board. It’s not like anybody is going to miss it… right?
