The Department of Skipping Pointlessly

Voldy was very excited. Tuesday was tomorrow! He skipped around the mailbox until he tripped on the curb and fell into the street.
"Why is everyone tripping and falling?" Voldy said, annoyed.
"Because they have poor balance, I assume." said an amused voice. Voldy looked up and saw Yaxley.
"Hello." said Yaxley.
"Help me up." said Voldy. Yaxley reached for his wand.
"Oh, never mind." Voldy got up himself, aided by the fact that there was a car coming.
"So, why are you excited?" Yaxley asked.
"How did you know?" Voldy replied.
"I saw you skipping." Yaxley said. Then in a hurt tone, "You never told me you could skip!"
"Why would you care?" Voldy asked.
"Didn't you know? I'm Head of the Skipping Pointlessly Department!" Yaxley exclaimed. "The Minister of Magic, Bob Tootsieroll, just added it yesterday."
"I see." Voldy nodded. "What do you do there?"
"Mostly trip and fall." Yaxley admitted. "We always skip, but the desks are in the way."
"That's nice." Voldy said.
"Hey there!" Lucius called. He came over to join them. "What's up, Voldy and... uh...."
"Yaxley." Yaxley said, offended.
"Right, hi." Lucius nodded. He turned to Voldy. "Why do you bother?" he whispered.
"I don't know." Voldy whispered back.
"I hate both of you!" Yaxley exclaimed. He punched Lucius in the head and Disapparated.
"......" said Lucius, rubbing his head.
"................" said Voldy
"Well, Draco wants a pet kangaroo rat, so I'd better go." Lucius realized.
"Okay, see you Lucius." Voldy said. "And thanks for not bragging about your hair or toes."
"I completely forgot!" Lucius exclaimed.
"Well good." Voldy turned to his house. "Bye."
Lucius Disapparated.
