School Rules
Once the bus arrived to the school, Lilly was the first one off. She ran inside the school building, her pace slowining to a fast walk. The halls we're littered with at least a thousand students, or at least, thats what Lilly thought. Out of no where, she tripped, falling to the hard marble floor with a thump. She gave a squeak of pain, as snickering was heard from behind. She looked over her shoulder, to see several boys and two girls. They appeared to be slightly older than her, but Lilly was un-sure. With a heavy sigh, she regained her bearings and continued to walk. She was one of the last people in the class room, making it slightly akward. "Hello, Ms.Peaks." Her teacher said kindly. On the board was her name: Mrs. Burroghs. Lilly returned an akward smile, sitting down at her desk. The teacher then went to the front of the room. "Alright, class. For your first day of school, we will all show you around. Considering that this is seventh grade, you should know what rules we have in the school. Any examples?" Several hands raised. Mrs.Burroghs pointed to a girl with way to much makeup. "Oh, well we..Um..We.." She had completly forgotten what to say."Correct, but, thats not the only thing."
Another hand raised. She then pointed to a jocky sort of boy.
"No talking out during class?"
Mrs.Burroghs nodded. "Good. Anyone else?" No hands.
"Alright. Well, that was a minor set of rules, here are the big ones." Mrs.Burroghs then started to blabber on and on and on with all the rules the school had. She read them out of a large 'Teacher Handbook'. After that they all started there academic activitys. They had all the fun stuff later, Lilly had signed up for Gym and Chorus. On the bus ride here, she was slightly worried. People had said that the gym teacher would try and destroy you! That wouldn't be fun..
