Chapter 2 Time

Miroan arrived at his lair. His lair was a cavern that glistened gorgeously in both the sun's rays and the moon's light. There were leaves in front of the entrance. This is a sign that Miroan was a leader of a tribe of white dragons called, the Merrowfang. He walked into the cavern.
Inside the cavern, Miroan wasn't alone. He had a son named Altoa. Altoa loved to read and go on adventures with his father, but he had an obsession. His obsession wasn't treasure like the normal dragons, instead, Altoa's obsession was the legendary Kairos dragon. All the other young dragons made fun of Altoa for making up stories about the Kairos dragon and obsessing over it.
"Hi dad!" Altoa rumbled happily.
"Hello Altoa," Miroan rumbled in reply, his toan seeming upset. "Son, there is something I need to tell you... and honestly I am not happy with saying this, but you must leave the den. You have grown to old to live with me. You must leave my den and not return until I have passed away, so you can take over your place as the next leader." Miroan rumbled sadly.
Altoa however, saw this more as an opportunity for exploration on his own. He was more determined than ever to find the Kairos dragon he so longingly wanted to see. Thoughts of finding the Kairos raced through his mind. "I leave tonight." Altoa thought. He was going to prove the others wrong and find the Kairos for himself. But, his journey was just beginning.
