Flash gets some news

Flash slinks onto the couch after putting the fowls to bed. Daisy smiles, "so... The fowls are asleep." Flash nods. Daisy sighs "there's something I gotta tell you Flash." Flash looks at Daisy and ushers her to continue, "there's something I never told you, I was scared you would shun me for it." Flash looks into Daisy's eyes, "I would never shun any pony for anything." Daisy smiles and continues, "the reason Doctor corn didn't want any pony else in there was cause I have a heart condition." Flash just smiles at daisy, "Daisy. I don't care how you are, where you came from, and what you have, you are a sweet, gentle, caring mare. And I fell in love cause you are a mare that comes once in a lifetime." Daisy smiles and they kiss. After a while Flash speaks, "daisy, I got a heart condition to, it slipped my mind after all that happened." Daisy half smiles, "well it hasn't exactly been a smooth run for you." Flash nods in agreement.

Flashes IPony rings, he walks off to answer it. He soon comes back looking upset. Daisy looks at him and asks, "what's wrong Flash." Flash tries to find his words then manages to reply, "that was Big Bill..." Hearing his tone daisy braces herself as he continues, "my father he.." Flash bursts into tears crying. Daisy comforts him. Flash manages to finish, "has cancer!" Daisy is taken back she thinks 'how can such a strong, fit stallion get sick so fast.' At that moment Violet walks in, "what's happened Flash." Daisy looks up from Flash and answers, "his father has cancer." Violet gasps, "does Raincloud know." Flash replies "no, she is in Pony Palace with Lilly." Violet nods and sits on the other side of Flash. There's a knock on the door, Violet gets up and opens it, Harold is standing there. Violet coldly says, "What do you want." Harold surprisingly replies in a gentle tone, "I was in town and I heard about Mr. Pegasy, may I come in." Flash calls, "You may come in." Harold enters and sits in a chair, "I'd like to apologise for attacking you like that, I had no right to hit a mare ether and I'd like to make up for it, ill give you the money for Mr. Pegasy's treatment." Flashes eyes light up, "you would do that for me." Harold nods, "you'd better go tell your father." Flash nods and then Harold leaves. Violet grabs her coat and says, "I'll go find Doctor Corn." And trots out the door. Soon after she leaves Flash gets up to leaves then asks, "will you be ok with the kids." Daisy nods and kisses him before he leaves.
