INTO THE WOODS~ (1)

Would you believe?

        I was still in the hospital bed.
                "It must have been a nightmare." I said as I slowly turned to see that it was seven in the morning.
        I pulled off the covers and looked at my side, the wound was still there, it didn't really looked healed and it still REALLY hurt.
           Above the little alarm clock, was a bouquet of daisies ( my favorite flower) in a glass vase.
       I painfully grabbed the vase and set it on my lap.
           Smelling the sweet smell of tulips and daisies.
       As I did, I guess a nurse had heard me, because now there was a nurse in my room smiling and asking me how I slept.
            I said it was ok lying through my teeth, and asked who had brought me the flowers.
                 "your parents dropped them by, while you were asleep." She replied smiling.
                 " Oh wow, that was nice." I said half smiling.
      I looked at the nurse innocently.
                 "I was just wondering, have you ever heard of slender man?" I laughed.
                 "Actually yes, my daughter did a report on mythical creatures and he was the one she had chosen."
                 "Have you heard the stories?"
                 "Yes but they're not real." The nurse laughed.
                 "Yeah, I know..." I said sighing.
               I just wished that I could tell someone about my experience and they would actually believe me, I thought sadly.
                 "Do you want to know why I'm here." I asked.
                 "Of course, but only if you don't mind."
                 "Slender man.. is what happened." I answered.
                 "I don't understand.." the woman said curiously.
                 "I know you might think I sound crazy, but I'm serious, he tried to kill me. He already killed two of my friends."
                 "How many pills did the doctor give you mam'?" she asked definitely not believing my story.
                 "Just pain, I think.." I said sadly.
       The nurse looked concerned as she walked out of the room.
