At that moment Rephaim shrived and said, “I’ve got to go.” Stevie Rae said, “I’m going to bed.” Everyone suddenly became aware of how late it was getting to be. Or early, depending on how you looked at it. I suddenly swayed and Stark grabbed me. “Whoa, sit down before you fall.” Stark said as he sat me down. Thanatos said, “I think we should all get some sleep and try to figure out our next moves.” “No,” Jazmyne said, “I can’t allow you to be killed because of me.” “Sis,” Richard said, “The goddesses have already put you in the middle of this war. I know this is not the war you speak of but remember you have the balance of the whole universe to think about and that includes our world. I can’t risk her or him to destroy you but your soul is the only one that tips the scale.” “No, Richard hers does too. The whole world rest upon the choice we make with our souls in this life. We are the only ones who can tip the balance but you don’t have to question my loyalty. Remember I’ve stuck by family more than once and I will stick by family as many times as I have to.”

With that I saw Jazmyne yawn and I said, “Well, I think this has been an interesting night for all of us. Lenobia are you going to be able to get back to the school?” “Oh, I’m not going back until tonight. The horses are being well taken care of. A young girl who says she is a friend of Jazmyne says that she would watch them for me. She also said that Jazmyne is the most faithful person she has ever known.”  Lenobia explained. Jazmyne smiled and said, “I’m sure Maria knows that she is the wisest person I’ve even known.” Lenobia said, “She said you would say that.” I watched Jazmyne yawn again and said, “Okay it’s time for all of us to go to sleep.” Richard said, “I’ll go and make sure everything is safe. You all go on to sleep.” Jazmyne got up and started to speak when Richard said, “You stay here and get some rest. I’m not going anyway but to check around and I’ll be right back.” With that he left and Stark helped me to my room. I walked and checked on Jazmyne who fell into the bed and automatically fell asleep. Stark came up behind me and said, “She really was exhausted but she couldn’t see it.”

Suddenly the girl groaned and twisted in her sleep. “No, leave me alone! I am stronger than you. Where’s my daughter, you idiot! I’ll always find you.” She muttered in her sleep. Then she fell silent. Stark said, “What was that about?” I shrugged and walked back to our room. Later on that morning, I woke up to a scream that sounded like someone was trying to kill someone. I was the last one to enter the room where Damien and Jazmyne were sleeping. I saw Richard trying to calm the girl down as she darted her eyes like there was a danger. “SIS! There is nothing going on snap out of it.” Suddenly she shuddered and looked at us. “I’m sorry!” she gasped as she began to breathe again. Richard said, “It’s okay you’re safe. What was this one about?”
