That night I lay in bed wondering why I had even asked to be DADA teacher.Hermioe was the Transfiguration teacher and the Headmistress after Minerva Mcgonagall died.I turned expecting to see Draco lying there chest going up & down.But then I remembered I was in a muggle hotel room.I buried my face in my hands.Then,there was a knock on my door.I stomped toward it and pulled it open...there,standing on the threshold,was a Ministry official and a 11 year old girl with red hair,freckles & greenish-gray eyes.I smiled politely."Hello,Mrs.Malfoy.I can't believe I finally get a family.I love families.I've never had one before.My mum and dad died a couple months after my birth and...oh!I'm rambling again!Sorry!Mrs.Thomas told me I had to hold my tongue but Eliza told me talking was wonderful.."the girl trailed off as she gazed at the ceiling."Hello...my name is Kingsley Shacklebolt and this is little Anne Shirley.She needs a home.A proper home."The man told me.I looked down at the girl.So young...I didn't want to get her involved in my drama.But if I didn't take her she would have no where to go.Or maybe she'd end up with a bad family.I sighed.She'd be leaving soon for Hogwarts anyway."Okay.I'll take her.Come along,Anne!"I said politely.Anne trotted in and I settled her down in a back room before sitting down on my own bed and breathing heavily.I climbed into my bed and lay down.Everything would be fine in the morning...

Annes POV
Mrs.Malfoy...no,mother she told me to call her,told me to leave when it was quiet.I listened and then heard silence I tiptoed out and looked around.Mother was laying on the ground.Her eyes were open and she was staring blankly up at the ceiling.I stumbled over to her and checked her pulse & breath but there was none.Of either.I gasped in horror and ran.I ran to the Lovegoods house like mother told me to.A woman with blonde hair answered the door."Excuse me!Are you Luna Lovegood?"I asked."Yes.Why?What's wrong?"She asked worriedly."M-mother...some people stormed our house and mother told me to hide in the closet.I did.She told me not to come out until it was all quiet and if she was gone to run to you.When I heard it was quiet,I tiptoed out and saw mother laying there.I was terrified.I ran all the way down here.Her name was Jamie Malfoy."I explained.Her eyes widened."NEVILLE!FLOO HARRY!LORCAN & LYSANDER GO RUN DOWN THE STREET AND GET SIRIUS!"She yelled into the house.She ran down the sidewalk.I stood there frozen.A man came out he had jet black hair,glasses and a lightning scar on his forehead.He was Harry Potter."It's going to be alright,Anne."He told me.But he didn't sound very convinced himself.
