There's a wonderfully sad album called "Evelyn Evelyn" about conjoined twin sisters going through bad shit but I think the wonderful thing about it is the song Chicken Man.
You don't get explanation until later about who the chicken man which makes it upsetting but you just get

So I have two slips of paper in my phone I carry with me at all times, and both are religious in some way and have a story.
Jeremiah 29:11- "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. " At a little mental health seminar, a girl I have never met handed me this. Throughout the day I was asking questions, mainly about autism (there was an autism counselor there) and I realized I See More▼ want to be an activist for children with autism and mental health. I'm pretty sure it's when God went "Here's my plan for you." It made me feel sure of myself. I still don't know who handed me it, but I want to thank her. The next week, I implemented mental health resources around the school.
"When you're going through Hell, keep going." -Winston Churchill. This one I hold with me for several reasons and I wrote it down myself. I've been through a lot (some I've talked about, a lot I haven't.) and it's the quote that keeps me going. It's a reminder I can feel what I am feeling, but to keep going. I live to spite everyone else. Technically, I should have died SEVERAL times, and just starting with birth was fatal due to being born too early and having a hole in my heart. I live to spite the odds. And I'm gonna keep going.
