Should l cut my hair?

Have been growing out my hair for about a year now, but l miss my above-the-shoulder length. I'm thinking once the quarantine is over I can go chop it off. (l've always kept my hair short, but l decided to grow it out. l enjoyed it for a little while and then l realized why l hated long hair: all the brushing and drying and all that extra work.) l'm pretty confident on my decision, because I have little to no connection with my hair :/
