Does the shy boy like me back?

Ok, let me start from the very beginning.
It all started when I was in 6th grade. It was the beginning of the year, and I finally stopped liking my 4th/5th grade crush (whom I liked for a while).
I soon started to gain interest in another really sweet boy. He's always been really shy, and I had a huge crush on him. I was head over heels for him (I still am). I am shy myself, so when I liked this boy in 6th grade, it didn't seem like he EVER showed any interest towards me whatsoever.
One day in reading class, I kept starring at him and he caught me. He had a super negative reaction to it, so I really am scared to talk or make contact with him.
Now that I'm in 7th grade, I still really like him. Lately he's been acting super weird and different around me.
These are some of the things he's been doing for the past 2-3 weeks:

•Constantly starring at me for a super long period of time when he thinks I'm not looking. will look away super fast when I catch him
•He and his friends are always whispering/gossiping about me, and his friends are always judging me
•Shows signs of nervousness when I'm around him: playing w/ hair, keeps glancing at me, seems fidgety/dead silent, etc.
•Brushes against me lightly (skin touching) when we're close/ always gets close to me when he gets the chance
•Seems like he wants to talk to me but can't physically get the courage to
•Blocked me on social media for no reason
•Mimics/copies my body movements

And much much more.

Please tell me what you think. I'm super confused, and he's sending mixed signals (sometimes acts rude or ignorant, or acts shy or nervous).
