Just pretend it's a normal conversation. Or create a worse case scenario. A few parents laugh? So what. Even I laugh at myself when I watch a play back. Most parents don't even care, sad but true.

Once the play starts you get so caught up in the moment you forget to be nervous. My friend taught me this trick too, when you feel scared think of something funny.

Alright, first things first: It's a school play; no ones expecting an award-winning performance. 2: if you screw up brush it off; no ones gonna remember within a week. 3: being nervous is a good thing- usually; it means you care about what you're doing and you want ti di well. 5: you'll be fine! Nothing bad is gonna happen. If you've practiced and tried enough, nothing bad is gonna happen and if it does so what? You did it and everyone will still be happy!
