What is the point in life?

I've been wondering this for a while now. I was always so happy but then my family moved to America and everything started sucking. I almost never saw my dad because he was always at work and my Mom was killed in the first month in this god forsaken country, but I've made some observations. In America everyone ends up going to work to get money so they can spend money so that the people you give money to get that money so they can spend it and blah blah blah. Money makes the world go round bs. BUt what I'm wondering is if that's all life is what is the point in living?
