sometimes, there are many diffrent forms of self harm. bt cutting is the most popular, and not all emos will cut, but i know some certainly do

Lol it's really stereotypical to think that. :)
I mean I've seen it but, not all of us do that.
Also I like the term Reject better.
Emo is more of a style of music.
But I'm glad u want to know the truth before pointing and judging. :)

i have emo friends... they dont cut themselves.. but i hav other friends who aren't emo but still cut themselves (a lot!!).. it's just a matter of how u deal with feelings, life etc n not necessarily cause ur emo.. but it's sad how people cut themselves...

I have a lot of people in my school saying im emo and i cut myself because i wear black.
EMO DO NOT ALWAYS CUT THEMSELVES. Some do and thats sad but when emos don't cut themselves and they have people telling them otherwise is when its just like 'how would you'

I was 10 when I made this question so yeah
Last year I learned they dont cut, only people with problems ((with life)) cut to make them feel better or something like that ((I have a friend who cuts)) and I started cutting but stopped last week so yeah now I know

Some do, some don't. Just because someone is emo doesnt automatically mean they cut themselves, and just because someone cuts themselves doesn't automatically make them emo. It would just be like if a guy asked " Do white girls really drink Starbucks?" it's just a stereotype.

Some do, but most don't. I should know, as I am emo and have emo friends. I do not cut, and out of the five friends I ahve that are emo, only one of them cuts. She says it is an outside representation of the pain she feels inside.
Some people cut where people cant see, because they don't want people to find out. They do it because the physical pain helps them cope with the mental pain.

It makes them feel better and once they reach a certain point, they get tired of beating themselves up mentally, so they start to cut to show people that they want and need help, even if they don't want to admit it.

Yes they do :( I had a best friend once who was Emo and she cut herself bc of all the stuff she went thru :( I hope she's ok now tho I hope all the Emo people t ok and doing better in life :(
