I never used to. He's fake because:
1. He can't fit down a chimney.
2. He wouldn't go unnoticed.
3. REINDEERS CAN'T FLY.
4. He CANNOT reach the world in ONE night.
5. He'd be dead by now...so...

Haven't you seen the movies? He sticks a finger up his nose, then he magically goes down the chimney! and yes he can while were sleeping, The world has different times of the night, and he is immortal.
