Since the first vote was "What's an Otaku?" I feel that i have to explain... Otaku- Japan: Otaku is extremely negative in meaning as it is used to refer to someone who stays at home all the time and doesn't have a life (no social life, no love life, etc) America: Watching anime, Reading Manga, better role models then Miley, Buying items that have things to do See More▼ with anime, writing fanfics about anime/manga, Listening to Vocalod/Japanesse songs, playing games from Japan, frequently labeling things as "kawii" or "baka", drawing anime/manga, bursting out laughing in history class (Hetailia), and dreaming of anime/manga. So basically..... Otaku in America means awesomeness
