i thought about how all this speed racer stuff kinda clicked
like, i had the car and i didn't know how old i was when i had it.
the movie came out when i was 3yrs old.
at the time, there could've been toys for the movie.
it's likely that my mother, with her gigantic car collection, bought the hotwheels car and i got it because i liked it more than the rest.
