Yeah, just washing it takes an hour.

Same. And the taking down of hair process is hard and it feels like it's gonna take forever...

I have to wear a shower cap. This was just when me and my where about to put it back into braids

I know! Same! When I take a shower, I get it wet then it shrinks up. Then we have to stretch it out overnight and it's SO PAINFUL.

Oh my god,yes. We have to sit there combing it out and it gets really tangled. Everything just mixes in. Especially in water, it just goes long and then shrivels up.

XD No, my hair locks up if unattended to. It's the worst. Your hair looks easy to manage. My mom has to comb all of the tangles out and it's PAINFUL. DX And my mom's from Arkansas and my dad is from Nigeria, and I got more of my dad's side. Hair over there is no joke, I say. No joke. That's why they keep it short. And that's what my mom wants to do to me. ;-;

Lucky. My hair is way too soft, it breaks easily. My mom's from Papua New Guinea and my dad is Swiss and Spanish. I think I'd like your hair, sorry if that sounds creepy. xD

Nah, but it'd be cool to be one. I'm African-American, but my mom is a light skin color, but I take none after her. Matter of fact, I take after my African dad more. XD I get my thick, coarse hair from his side. Curses. =~=

I takes 6-7 hours for mine as well. And I understand your pain. IT SUUUUUUCKS. DX

Oh, yeah that and the 6 hours it takes to get it into braids. ;-;

When it's out of braids, it gets really noted and then everyone wants to touch it and pull it and comb it out. Then when it's in braids every body likes to pull it to watch it spring up. I have lost half the feeling in my scalp because of it.

Mine is in tiny twists that spring everytime you pull on it, and eeeeeeeeeveryone wants to pull on it. You're lucky, random people come pull my hair. ;-;
