Hello, recruits. Our last attempted role-playing mission was aborted. However, the Covert Organization of Detection and Espionage (CODE) still needs your help. Join our forces and finish what we never completed. Time is ticking, the stakes are higher, and our fate rests in your hands. We're counting on you. Operation Reboot is a go. Good luck, agents. Upon descent, Alpha turns off the automatic pilot and takes control of the plane. It finally touches down after the long journey. This is it. The mission is finally beginning.]

Alpha has recruited those going to the council: Eva, Rivers, Cadence, Shepard, and Thomas. They are preparing for a morning takeoff at 4:30 which will land them at their destination in about 10 hrs. Sr. Agent "Bulldog" is in the process of preparing a jet for the flight. Alpha and Brody are overseeing preparation.]

Alpha: Playground for the rich. It won't See More▼ be conspicuous for an influx of foreigners to arrive. And it's close enough to the hotspot for us to keep tabs on any activity.

Alpha: Yes... because I don't have a choice. Are the guns loaded?
Brody: Yes, Alpha, along with all of the other cargo. Alpha, it's not too late to back out. You don't have to go.

People say that good is the losing side, but when you think about the lost souls out there who've completely stripped away their morality, emptied their brains of everything except violence and greed, they've lost far more than we ever have. Honestly, by not trying to survive and make it back home, I feel See More▼ like that would be doing an injustice to those that didn't make it...

Wanting to survive on the island could be considered selfish or lustful, where choosing death would be cowardly.

Thomas: I like that you ask tough questions. But I'd probably choose death. It just seems to me that those left behind have do deal with a punishment worse than death. They're left behind, stuck with memories of those they outlived. Besides, no one wants to be alone. Not completely. What about you, Agent Shepard?

Thomas: *He wakes up at his desk, rubbing his face. He had fallen asleep while working and is now searching for Alpha. He walks around and him in a small dark room lit only with candles. Alpha stands solemnly looking at pictures* Alpha, it's me, Theta. May I enter?
Alpha: Hm? Oh, yes. If it pleases you.
Thomas: What is this place?
Alpha: A memorial for past and fallen agents. See More▼ *Thomas nods his head and looks about the room* Is there something important?
Thomas: No. How are preparations for the mission coming along?
Alpha: They're coming along alright. *sigh* I'm growing too old. Soon I'm going to be on this wall. If not, it will be my agents instead.
Thomas: Don't talk like that, Alpha. Everything will get worked out. Glenningdale will know the logical thing to do and from what I hear, the other branches haven't completely fallen into chaos.

He goes in and is surprised to find the usually meek Thomas pounding the sh!t out of the punching bag and showing surprising strength. Thomas: I used to box as a kid. I stopped when I became old enough to work. And then I went through some general field training. *Changing subject* Did you need something?

Personality: Hardened by battle, nothing worries him anymore. Quick thinker with a sarcastic tongue. Not a leader, made to follow orders, and execute mission objectives, most times by killing all those who stand in his way.
Family: He has a younger sister, but he never knew her well, having left his family when she was only 8. Both his parents are deceased, his father passing away after dying as a See More▼ soldier in the US army, and his mother dying after losing her battle against cancer.

Special skills/Expertise: Weapons expert, he studied every weapon type known to man, learning their strengths and weaknesses, and how to care for them, and handle them. However, just like any human, sometimes he forgets some of the more obscure weapons, and just needs a moment to figure it out.
Backstory: He was offered the chance to join C.O.D.E. at the age of 18. Wondering why they had chosen him, he inquired, and they replied coolly that he was just, “the man for the job”. C.O.D.E. wanted someone who was going to follow orders, and not ask too many question, like “why?” Seeing that he fit this description, they came to him, and made him an offer that he couldn’t refuse.
Other: His mission objective is number one in his book, and everything else comes second. If this means disregarding the feelings of other squad mates, then so be it.
