The Purge RP
Upon awakening, a few scattered people realize everyone else is gone. Some say it was the salvation of religion, others say the Earth was attacked by aliens. No one knows what happened, only that the world has fallen into disarray because of the loss of billions. The few survivors of what is now know as "The Purge" are now left to decide whether civilization continues, or dies along with the disappearance of everyone. Will they work together to survive, or with chaos reign?
Rebekah: *moving down the street, her handgun in her holster, she looked from one side of the street to the other*
*each house she passed was silent, cars abandoned in the middle of the street, fires burning in some cases*
*the feeling was surreal, not feeling the cool breeze on her exposed arms, her bag dangling on he shoulder*
*at her side was the handgun her father had bought for her, for protection purposes at school*
Hello...? *she called out down the street loudly, thinking See More▼ it wouldn't do her any good*
*she waited for a second, before sighing, her shoulders slumping, the only answer greeting her was a small gust of wind*

Looks like we're a new happy family...*murmuring this thought aloud and mainly to herself*
I'm going to do a bit more shopping, since we have a vehicle to put things in now. *moving back towards the Jeep*

You might wanna stop inside and get some food for him. Prolly not gonna be any at the hospital.
*with that, she shut the Jeep door, and backed the Jeep up towards the front of the grocery store*
*throwing it in park, she shut off the engine, and climbed out again, grabbing the cart that was still blocking the doors*
You coming Casper? *she called back, standing in the doorway now, looking back at the Jeep*
dog a smile grew on his face. He immediately put his book down and he turned to the dog, pet him lovingly.*
*He grinned happily as the dog licked his hands happily and wagged it's tail excitedly. He grabbed the sides of
the dog's face sweetly, rubbing See More▼ his fur as he chuckled softly, showing happy emotion for the first time since they'd
found him.* Hey there buddy....*He murmured softly, identifying that it was a golden retriever easily because they
were such a common breed.* Where'd you come from huh? *He asked, already liking the dog already. He reached
down and looked at the tag on his collar and read his name.* Maximilion huh? Mind if I call you Max? Maxilmilion is
kind of a mouth full. *He stated, ignoring everyone else as he spoke to the dog like another human, this being more than
he's spoke to anyone in the group yet.*
*pulling into the parking lot of the grocery store, she pulled the Jeep up towards the wrecked car*
*stopping, she honked the horn twice, rolling down her window to see Katie and the man*
Come on you two, our new home awaits us! *she called out, the song still blaring*
Let's See More▼ do this right! *she sang along with the lyrics, laughing, causing the dog to bark happily as the song ended*
Oh, and I found us a new friend too! *she got out of the car, and opened the back door*
*the dog hopped out and ran towards the strangers, his tail wagging quickly from side to side*
*seeing the man sitting in the car, he approached him first, licking his hand* I think he likes you. *she called to the man*
Hang on...*she murmured, stepping on the gas, speeding towards a parked car in the middle of the road*
*the Jeep barreled through the two cars, pushing them to either side of the road, denting the front end*
*looking in the rearview mirror, she saw the dog was alright, See More▼ and she looked over at Casper*
*he appeared shaken, but she had expected that reaction, since he probably never rode in a vehicle for some time*
*the added effect of slamming into something probably didn't help matters* Sorry, had to clear a path...
I promise the return trip will be a bit more pleasant...*she focused forward again, looking down at the radio*
Maybe some music will help things? *she reached for the power button and turned it on*
*she was greeted with: Just a Kiss - Lady Antebellum* Oh I love this song! *she started to sing along with it*
*He pulled a small piece off of it and put it in his mouth, savoring the sweet flavor of it but he didn't show her
how grateful he was for the cookie, he just kept his gaze averted from her.* Thanks...*He mumbled softly,
pulling another chunk See More▼ off to eat it. After that single word he kept quiet because he wasn't one for much
talk and he hardly ever spoke unless directly spoken to because that was just how he'd lived before this,
he wasn't really supposed to speak unless he was addressed directly. He looked down at his lap to keep
from looking at her, eating slowly because he felt uncomfortable having her near.*
