Part 4 - The big day (second try outs)
As John lugged his bag back to the gym he noticed a group of girls in sports gear march over to the coach in the yellow top. "We want a girls soccer team Mr O'Connel. You said we could have one if I got enough girls interested and here they are. They all love soccer just like me and are just as passionate about it as I am. We need a girls soccer team Mr O'Connel, please" one of the girls said. As she said this John looked over. She was the See More▼ prettiest girl he had seen in his life. She had beautiful brown, silky hair and blue eyes. She had a fire about her that he loved and he instantly couldn't get her out of his mind.
He needed to though as he would soon find out that he had made it into the second and final round of try outs. He was stoked, or though he had made it into the seconds twice before he was still excited that he would have another chance to probe himself.
They started. This round was a lot more intense than the first. Anybody who had made it through to seconds wanted it more than anything. The coach blew his whistle and the final round of try outs ended. All the boys were patting each other on the back and praising each other. All were eager to see the result which was revealed after school.
He had done it. Finally after everything he had made the team. As he walked out of the gym he was so enthused he accidently collided with a familiar looking girl. She was the one that loved soccer. They locked eyes and suddenly John was glad he had gotten rid of Marcia as this girl was perfect for him and he was perfect for her.

Part 3 - The big day (first try outs)
John was nervous but he felt ready to face whatever he was thrown in the try outs. There was no going back now. He had lost his social life, his girlfriend, precious time with his sister, mother and friends to do this. He had to get through. If he didn't there was no way he would even be able to look at Marcia anymore. Knowing fore well that he would have made the wrong decision.
A man dressed in a yellow tshirt and black shorts came out See More▼ of the gym and began to walk over to the football field. He had a whistle dangling around his neck and was holding a clipboard.
"Everybody line up. We are going to start with some basic warm ups" said the man. He clapped his hands and the boys started running and dodging and pushing to the very end of the try outs. The cheerleaders stood watching this massive brawl of the fittest.
The try outs were over in what felt like no time at all. The boys were tired and sore but John felt happy with how hard he had worked. He wanted this more than anything now and nothing would set his mind away. Well, apart from....

Part 2
But out on the field he was away from all that and he could focus on what he really wanted, to be on the A team for Scott High football. He was in the reserve team but had never been good enough to make it all the way. There was always someone who was just that much better than him. He had gone through a lot in the past year and had trained as much as he could and he finally felt ready for the big day.
"John!" He heard a call from behind him. "John, sweet, I've missed See More▼ you so much. I've hardly seen you all week!" It was his girlfriend Marcia. Unfortunately sometimes his problems managed to follow him onto the field.
"What? Coz you've been sleeping with all these other guys is that it?" John said in anger and then retreated back. He hadn't meant to say that, he was just angry. Not with Marcia particularly but with the fact he didn't know what was true. He was ashamed of himself, he had never liked rumors and never believed them, mostly.
"John, we're done. If I mean less to you then a bunch of rumors, we are done. Do you hear me?" Marcia demanded angrily.
"I'm sorry Marcia, look I've just been so under pressure lately with all this training" he persuaded.
"Then John, pick. It's me or the football John, make your choice, because there's no going back." Marcia or Football. The choice was his, but he found it surprisingly easy. Don't get me wrong, he absolutely loved Marcia and though it was very hard for him, he loved football more.
"I love you and football, please Marcia don't do this to me" he tried again.
"No!" she shouted. "You've made your choice and by the way I slept with Patrick" and with that she walked off. John, while hurt felt surprisingly good. He never was one to believe in rumors but this one was true and he was glad that for once he was right. He now could focus more on his training. He had a big day coming up.

John loved being out on the football field. He felt free and so alive. It took him away from the pressures he had at home. He had a sister with autism and a mother with a mental illness so he was worried about them a lot. It took him away from the relationship problems he was having with his girlfriend Marcia. She had been so overprotective of him when they started going out. John was the school nerd at Scott High. He read books, he listened in class and he even asked the teacher for more work when he was done. But one day he was walking down the coridoor and he saw a jocky teazing a school girl.
"Come on babe! Just a kiss!" laughed the jocky making kissing noises.
"Get lost!" She yelled back slapping him across the face he glared at her and raised his fist.
"Hey!" Yelled John sudenly surprised with himself. He would normaly walk past unoticed but See More▼ something about the girl made him want to interfear.
"What do you want nerd?" Asked the jocky. John pushed his glass up his nose.
"I will not let you treat this poor girl like a play thing!" He said standing strighter.
The jocky glared at him.
"And what happens if I don't?" The jocky said
John searched his brains for what he could say then he remebered his latest book that he had read.
"I will challenge you to a duel!" He said shaking his fist at the jocky. The jocky looked at him blackly for a minute blicking.
"Whats a duel?" He asked.
"Some kind of challenge one and another do to shoot each other"
"You can't shoot each other!" The girl said shaking her head in shock.
"Of course not, but what can we do?" The the jocky smirked.
"I bet you can't get into the football team!" He said
"If you can I will leave the girl alone, if you don't I can annoy her as much as I want!" He gave her a kiss and she pulled a face in discuss.
After the Jocky had gone the girl walked up to John smiling.
"That was very brave thank you" she whispered giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before running off to her next class. John flushed bright red. He got kissed my a girl! How rare is that!? With a goofy smile he walked away. He was going to get into that football team no matter what...for her.

Part 3 - Bradly reluctantly gave Rose the keys. "Stay safe and don't scratch her!" he shouted as Rose ran out of the door. Once in the car she started it and made a sharp U-turn. She headed for the airport with exhilarating speed. Rose may have given the impression that she was a weak, sensible lady but her driving in this circumstance was completely out of character. She skidded past the pet store and the general store. She swerved past the mall and found the airport. Parking See More▼ in a 15 minute parking zone she climbed out of the car and ran inside. She was too late! Christopher was already on the tarmac walking over to his plane. She tried pleading with the official to let her out but he said that she should go home, so she pushed past him. She knew she couldn't survive without Chris. He loved her, she did love him, she just had a momentary mind blank and went for the new boy, Joe instead. She had to get Chris back, she couldn't face having made the biggest mistake of her life. When she got to Chris she just about bowled him over with hugs and kisses. "Rose, I" he started to say, but before he could say anymore Rose and him were in lip lock. They stayed out on the tarmac, wind in there hair, kissing passionately until they heard the official yell from the foyer. They walked back arm in arm, together. Once they were back the apologies started. "I'm so sorry I didn't pick you Chris. You were right, Joe didn't love me and never would have. I don't know how to make", "shhhh, Its ok now Rose" Chris butted in. "You're safe now" he said holding her lovingly in his arms. "I love you, Rose."

Part 2 - "You can't do that princess" Joe smiled wickedly. "The deal has to stay. It was a deal after all. You had to pick out of Chris and I and you picked me so now you must do my every command."
"I hate to tell you this" said Rose smiling back, "but the deal was this: whoever one my heart I would chose, the other one would lose. And the one I had chosen, here it comes, was the one who would love me with all his heart. You are the one who has broken the deal. You don't want See More▼ to love me and you won't. You broke the deal first so the deal is off, and besides we never shook on it" and with that Rose ran over to her bike and rode off in the direction that heartbroken Chris had gone in. She had to get to the airport before his plane took off and he was taken to the otherside of the world. An old push bike would never do. She needed something faster with more power. Bradly's sparkly new porche was parked outside of the diner. She ran in to the diner and found him. "Brad, give me your keys" she spoke, out of breath. "What is this? an armed robbery?" Brad joked. "Just hand over the keys. I've got no time for jokes. I'll tell you why when I return."

Part 1 - Rose was overwhelmed by this offer, but she was smart. She saw right though Joe, she knew what he was after and had no intention to be a part of it. She wished she could have listened to Christopher. Maybe then would she be able to find true love, but she had gone with Joe and he was a jerk. "Please Rose. You know how much I love you. I love you to the moon and back. I love you more than Christopher ever did. Don't worry Rose, you made the right decision to stick with See More▼ me" he pleaded, but it didn't help. Rose knew he was wrong and she had been wrong. "No Joe!" she shouted. She thought she was sad she made the wrong decision but when she tried to speak she knew she was angry. Angry with Joe. "How can you even say that? I thought you loved me. I thought you were going to take care of me, but now you want me to move in with you? and go overseas and come to your mates house? You think I'm stupid. I can see past all of these innocent gestures. Chris was right. All you ever wanted was to have me around like a toy. An accessory. Your love was never anything else. Now I can see the light, but Chris is gone. Chris is gone" she shuddered at the thought of spending the rest of her life with Joe as it was the deal. Then she did something that may have seemed childish but she was desperate and it was the only way out of this situation. The only way she could be free. "Well, I guess you're with me now. Whether you like it or not. It sure hurts though, I mean all that stuff you said. Especially coming from you" Joe muttered. "Oh stop it Joe! You know I'm right. You know Christopher was right. He was! So stop the innocent act already. I'm not going to feel sorry for you, I've already made up my mind. The deal is off!"

"Rose...Rose can you hear me?" The poor red headed girl walked along the pavement silenty sobbing. She had just lost her one and only love. She had just been to his funral and was recovering from all the darkness and dispear it made her gain. She could hear his voice in the wind
"Rose..." She looked up at the starry night sky and sighed.
"I wish you could still be here" She whispered before carrying on walking.
After a few steps she felt a cold hand upon her shoulder. She spun See More▼ around to see a white figure standing behind her with a tear stained face. It was the ghost of her once boyfriend.
"Mark!" She cried and put her arms round him. He was cold. Mark hugged the poor rose back then held her at arms lengh.
"You don't need to cry over me you know" He whispered smiling.
"Oh, but Mark I do! I really do!" She howled "When will I be able to see you again"
"When you finaly make it to haven, I will see you at gods door"
"I can't not wait that long Mark!" Rose whispered tears rolling down her face. He wiped them away with a cold hand.
"Don't worry about me i'm happy, I had a good run and now its your turn, go find you parents tell them your sorry" He whispered disapearing.
"No Mak...come back...I need you" Rose whispered when he went. She took out her mobile and called a number.
"Hello? Mum?"
"Rose..." She looked up at the starry night sky and sighed.

An astronomer Rose is out on a starry night, looking into the stars for a sign that she will find the man of her dreams. She doesn't care how far she has to go, or what she has to do to get to him, but she will do it. She was setting up her telescope and was looking around the sky for anything different that could be a sign from God that she would find love, and for three hours she looked and she didn't find anything, so she got sad and frustrated. Then all of a sudden, she saw See More▼ a flash in the sky to her left, a new star had appeared (not a Jesus is born kind of star) She was surprised, she said "Seeing a new star appear, that is a sign of good fortune, maybe I will find the grue one for me." On her way home, she ran into this guy with brown hair and was about 6 foot 2, and she dropped her telescope. He said sorry and demanded that he buy her a new one. No, you don't have to do that , it was my fault" she said, but he insisted, so after a little bit of time, she finally agreed that they would both buy a telescope together tomorrow. The next day, they met up at the store that sold the best telescopes, they were figuring out witch one was best, he said, he had been watching her for a while, but hadn't been able to gather enough courage to talk to her. She realized, this is this guy was part of the sign of the star she had seen the night before. he told her his name was Zayn. and over the next few months they got to know each other, and then they started to date, and eventually they got married and lived long happy lives together.

14 year old, Rose sat on a bench during a late, Starry night. She felt miserable and all, for a person that love to isolate herself from other people.
She wore a pink hoodie, which she wearing a hood over her head. She watched two crows cuddle each other in the cold sapphire night. They flew away, leaving Rose all by herself again, until a guy with brown hair, normal male clothes with blue eyes came by. Are you ok, miss? Said the boy. The boy looked like the age of 16. Rose felt See More▼ a little tingle in her heart as she looked up at the boy. The boy held out his hand as he said: My name is Jake. Want to hang out? Rose slowly touched Jake's hand and gotten up. M-My name is Rose. Rose gave a little blush as Jake smiled at her. Both of them happily walked off as the wind blew.
