THEORY FOR DHMIS:
(I don't know all their names)
My theory is that all these strange things are happening to them, because they aren't normal people. They're special. Why I think this is because every antagonist, (paige, tony, shrignold, Colin, and food) have all tried to influence them to do things normal people do. Paige told them to be creative in a certain way normal people are, Tony told them to think about time like normal people, Shrignold tried to force Manny See More to change who he is to be fit for love, (like how people change their looks and everything when they fall in love) Colin told them about the internet and to use it a specific way, and the food told them to watch what they eat like normal people watching their weight and everything they eat. And if you think about it, every time the antagonist tried to force something on one of them and they refused, bad stuff happened because they probably represent normal things, and they didn't like special people
(explaining the government in some ways). Finally, Harry wanted to be normal because he probably couldn't handle it anymore, that's why in DHMIS 6, everyone at his work looked like him, because they were all normal. Robin was dead because he still wanted to be special but didn't want to go through it, so they killed him so he wouldn't suspect anymore. Manny wanted to still be special to but went through all of it. In DHMIS 6, he had enough and didn't want to listen to them anymore because that's how all his friends died. He was crying near the end because he didn't want to go through it and didn't want to be normal even though they put pressure on him. Harry pulled the plug because he had enough of it too and wanted them to restart and be normal. That's why at the end Manny was green, because green is not a creative color.
