⭐️ Why I Believe in Lots of Genders ⭐️
-not being rude, just something i want to say-
(for those who don't care, I have quality content on my account and I would appreciate your views)
1. Biologically, there are 4(ish) sexes (I'll explain the ish)
- Male
-Female
- Only 1 (X) chromosome (known as intersex and causes androgynous appearance and underdeveloped genitals in both areas) See More
- Only 1 (Y) chromosome (but you would die immediately, so this is an ish)
2. Gender is a construct invented to sort humans when sex determined jobs, class, rights, etc.
- According to the government in MOST countries (I'll explain the most), all sexes are equal
-Therefore, these "genders" are not needed, they are just a common practice/ tradition.
(Most: Ok, in some countries it is not equal, but that is morally wrong and frowned upon)
3. ALL genders are in one way or another made up. Everything is made up. Every single word and letter I'm using and you are reading right now is made up. So why can't we make up more?
(I get this is a dumb argument, but it's true)
4. Gender is a construct of the mind. Supposedly, your gender determines your personality in a way, and dictates your preferences, actions, etc.
Some people's birth gender, conflicts with their state of being. This is known as gender dysphoria. Personally, I do not like this term. It makes it out to be a disease (like depression), when it's really not. A person with gender dysphoria does not always want to be the complete opposite gender/sex. Just like how there are bisexual people, people who like dogs AND cats, people who like sweet AND sour. They choose to identify with an "inbetween" gender or none at all.
Here's an explanation of a few:
Genderqueer- Questioning gender, not really a gender.
Genderfluid- Switching between male, female, and androgynous depending on how they feel.
Demigirl- 70-90% female, 30-10% male - this as well can fluctuate
Demiboy- 70-90% male, 30-10% female -this as well can fluctuate
Agender- identifying with no gender, purely androgynous
