K so (run bc this is frostbite basically and I’m being a bit gory)
1st degree (frost tip) is characterized by red fingers and only reaching the epidermis of the skin.
2nd (superficial frost bite) goes down into the dermis. This is when your body starts turning an ashy color and has white blistering.
3rd (deep frostbite) basically, your skin is peeling, it goes deeper than the dermis and you’re fu cked after that
