I'm going to say something that may seem offensive, but not meant to.
It would be ironic if I was against this topic, seeing how my stepsis is vegetarian.
If you disagree, let this be a learning experience for me.
I'm not against vegetarianism and vegans, however,
I don't get it if you're trying to save the animals.
Humans are a type of animal, and we need to eat to survive. YES, there are other food sources, however, lack of some nutrients you can't get from vegetarian/ vegan See More meals are needed.
Animals eat other animals, right? Humans are animals.
I've done the math on this.
Hunters can only hunt certainty animals at certaint times, and a certaint emount to not kill to many.
If we eat mostly non-meat products every year, we would still get about the same animal poulation as if we had vegans & vegetarians.
And those who can't eat certain non-meat things, what are they going to do? Several of those who can't have milk, soy, or wheat products need something else, and meat gives some of those nutrients.
Also,, back to my original point: humans ARE animals. Animals who aren't herbivores eat other animals, right?
So, how are we going to fight animals eating other animals?
I cannot say this enough; I'm not against vegans and vegetarians, I don't get it if you're trying to "save the animals" though.
