I'm so drained from people talking shit about me and acting like idk shit about it. One of my cadets had to talk to a leader about it because it was getting to me that badly. I'm done with people being pissy at me because I got a promotion OVER THE SUMMER. LAST YEAR, IN JUNE. It's stupid. I'm done with the whispers. The disrespect.
I get it. If I'm being disrespectful, you're gonna snap. But if I've REPEATEDLY told you to do something and you don't carry the order out, I'm gonna be an ass. I'm not asking people to respect me ONLY because of rank. But if it gets to that, I may have to. I'm sorry I'm a squad leader, platoon sergeant, first sergeant, AND company commander as a LET 2 and it gets stressful but I have to. I'm tired of apologizing about doing my job.
