"Eyes"
I heard the most beautiful eyes had the most pain behind them. There was this girl I knew, she had the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. They were green around the pupils and faded into a nice turqouse blue woth a dark, almost black rim around them. She always seemed so cheerful, as well.
That girl and I became close friends, and that's when she began to show herself. When changing for gym, she would look in one of the mirrors and point out something she hated about See More herself in a joking tone as she changed. She would say how many times she messed up each time we conpeted, and after a while, she was always on the verge of tears.
Every team she was on, she didn't volenteer for. The instructor told her to be on that team. She was in all pre-AP and AP classes. Yet, at the same time, she would push herself downwards.
Nobody but a handful of people told her to take a step back.
Yet, she never did.
