Why is the number "666" or anything "Satanic" constantly thrown around in CreepyPasta stories?? To scare those who are religion-sensitive and those who get offended by these symbols?? Bro, that's not scary stuff - you're just being a dick to others that don't like seeing that shit. And you don't know how to be scary without throwing symbols around like it's the West Side.
666 is the mocking of the Trinity that dates back to the new testament of the Bible, when "gods people" were persecuted by the Romans. Then the Catholic Church turned it into a "satanic" sympol along with the inverted pentagram. But satanism itself isn't about Satan. It was a term for people not of the abrahamic faiths by the Catholic Church to demonize them. See More▼ Don't understand why that has anything to do with creepypasta at all....

@InTheCosmos I honestly believe the number 666 is a satanic symbol but I dont think it has anything to do with the CreepyPasta stories. Like you said I just think its to scare people, who are religious. Would I go near something that had that number based on my upbringing? Hell no lol but I'm not gonna spoil other peoples fun cause it makes me uncomfortable.

Work today... holy shit, so much Halloween decorations are all ready coming out. And even in the back of the store, there was a giant stack of boxes full of costumes readied to be put out to sell. Orange and black, candy and ghosties, everywhere. OMFG, I love Halloween. :D
