"There's no escape" You whisper. You had been struggling for ages but to no avial. A sudden sound of the door knob rattling knocked you out of your thoughts. There was a moment of silence until you heard the faint click of the door opening and a mumble. "Why is it people always put keys under door mats?" You reconise the voice. The door opened to reveal the figure of a familer hedgehog. "Shadow!" You called out and he ran towards you. "__! Your safe! I knew you would be, I just, I couldn't bear the thought of you being...but your okay!" "I was worried about you! Domanic told me you were-" "No, don't ever worry about me, your safe and unharmed. Thats what matters right now" "The others?" "They're fine! We knew you were not with us and we knew Domanic had taken you. We then decided to go find every door and smash it open till we found you." You and Shadow share a smile before he bends down to undo your cuffs. He puts the key into the hole and your cuffs pop off. You jump up and wrap your arms around Shadow and he returns the favour. "hey, __?" "Hm?" "I love you" "I love you too" You both hear a cackle. "How cute, a happily ever after" Domanic says, he pulls you away from Shadow. "Let go of her!" Shadow yells. Domanic chuckles as you try to pull away and you feel something cold and metel against you cheek. Shadow freezes. "This is not how my game should end" He snarls. "How about this: Shadow comes to save __...but what will he do? Beg?" Domanic laughs. "What wrong Shadow?" Domanic says sarcastically. "Don't want your girlfriend in harms way? Your a little late for that, buddy, I said you would be" Shadow growls. "You forgot one thing, Domanic" He snarls. "And whats that?" "You didn't promise" You kick Domanic in the shin but his grip on you is still tight. While he's distracted Shadow grabs a candle holder and swings it at Domanic knocking him out. "We did it!" You cheer pushing Domanic off you. Shadow helps you up "yep! Let's godet to the others!" And with that, you run off with him.

This line insteantly reminds you of Shadow and you pull agaist the chins holding you back. "Wheres Shadow?! Where is he?!" Domanic chuckles. "Shadow, along with the others, are still running around my world trying to find you. They will keep running and running until driven to insanity and will start fighting agaist each other wanting to find you. Their poor, sweet, __. They still don't know there is no traitor" Eggman will be coming for you soon, stay put until then" He says turning back around to face you. His eyes are dark. "Why?!" You call to him. "Why did you make us go though all that! You not only made me suffor, but you made the one I love and friends suffor as well!" "Like I said before, that was your own fault. You choose that path." "But, I made Shadow a promise, i need to be there for him- I need-" "And he feels the same. That feeling of betrayl you feel right now? The knowingness of that it is you who caused all this? He feels the same. He thinks its his fault your missing. Did I say I don't break promises? Silly me, I meant I don't break MY promises and yours, my dear, is broken"
