SU Fact or something: All gems are pratically female. There is no known male gems ever mentioned in the series though there are theories that there could be male gems.
The only male gem ever mentioned is Steven Universe who of course is half human from his father's side (Greg Universe) which explains his gender of any ordinary humanoid but possesses the abilties of Rose Quartz, a gem who is mother to Steven who somewhat gave up apart of her form just so she could create her son. Though, other then Steven some believe minerals or something like that could be the males aming homeworld but not once have any been seen nor mentioned. So for those who love SU the series is one hell of a lesbian filled show. Which I find quite amazing.
