Scary Stuff

Freaky text message- true story!

So I don’t have my own cell phone. My parents have a spare that I occasionally use. This number previously belonged to someone else.

Last night I was laying in bed when I received a text from an unknown number. The message said “stop”. My mom had told me to delete any messages like this WITHOUT OPENING THEM because they could be viruses. This is what I did, and then thought nothing of it.

A couple of minutes later, I got another message from the same number. Again, it said “stop”. I deleted this one too, mildly interested.

A few minutes later I got a message- from the same number of course- that said “I said stop”. Starting to freak out a little bit, I blocked the number and deleted that message as well.

An hour later I got a message from a different unknown number that said “Why aren’t you stopping?” Completely freaked out by this point, I texted my dad.

This morning he did something with the phone. I don’t know what, but I haven’t gotten any more weird texts. It still scares me to think about it though.... *shudder*
