Do You Sometimes Wish That You Would Fit In?

Okay, this is a story about what happened at school today. Not every little detail, but enough to write a story. You may think I'm over reacting, but I'm not. I'm just expressing my feelings. :)

Chapter 3.

Alone

We walked back together..well, up until the end of this road until they all stopped. Lily, Molly and another friend called Phoebe. "Ellen, where are you going?" Asked Molly. I turned around to look at them. They were stood on the end of the pavement.
"What are you doing?" I asked, a bit confused.
"Getting a lift." Said Molly.
"Well, *we* are." Phoebe said.
She emphasized the word 'we' so much I clenched my fists. They never asked me about getting a lift unlike all the other times. I might sound a bit over the top about this, but you guys don't know them. I do. They would tell me what they were doing..most of the time...
I sighed and turned away, walking up the path. I said "I'm going to walk home. Bye!" No one replied. I felt so annoyed and alone. They didn't try to stop me, I don't even think that they were watching me. I turned to look at them but they were watching the road and talking. I felt even more lonely. So I walked home, trying to hold back the small tears as I texted my mum about the test and how well it went. It started to rain and water got all over my phone screen. I sighed and put it in my blazer pocket. As I walked back in the rain, Phoebe's granddad's car drove past and stopped at Molly's gran's house. They dropped Molly off and then Phoebe winded her window down. "Do you want to come in the car? Then you won't get wet!" It wasn't even raining at that point. I said no because there was no point, I was almost home anyway. So I continued to walk and finally got home. I sighed and sat down on the sofa. I felt better when I got home, I had my family who love me. It didn't heal all the scars but it felt good.
