A New Goddess...
My name is Faira (Atmosfaira) or Stea (Star), and I am a new goddess of Mount Olympus. Zeus has asked me to come here because they are lacking on one Olympian. Hera, his wife, is away for a while. She needs to nurse and care for an orphan child on Ethiopia. Now, I am supposed to take her place on Mount Olympus and bring peace to the world, like she had done before. Yes, my power is to bring peace but I have other powers, too. I am the daughter of Erebos, god of the shadows. Each night, I make the sky dark and rise the stars that glitter brightly. But I also have a very special gift, the gift of music. When I was five, I lived with my dad in a little house by a lake in a forest. It was night and I couldn’t sleep. I had not discovered my powers yet, and I walked out of our house. A strange power pulled me towards the lake. I looked at the clear surface and saw the stars glittering in the sky. Suddenly, the stars moved. They moved down towards me and formed a beautiful golden flute. The flute fell in my hands and I was tempted to play it. I couldn’t play flute, I had never even tried, but when the flute attached to my lips, the sounds came out so magically and beautifully. When I looked up, there were forest animals gathered all around me, sleeping happily. That is when my powers came to me…“Good night”, I whispered. Then I went to bed. My Symbol of power is a FIREFLY. They seek my presence. People say I am very shy and beautiful. Aphrodite hates me because I am prettier and Ares and I don't like each other because we are so different. I am really looking forwards to my time on Mount Olympus!!!!!!
