My eyes opened but.... I was still asleep... It felt as if I wasn't entirely there but as I looked down at my hands they were transparent and I was practically like a ghost "huh is this one of those slightly aware dreams or am I subconsciously somewhere else....." I thought to myself as I looked around. It was like the void pitch black for infinity and beyond and it was honestly a bit terrifying but after a few minutes I had calmed down and readdressed myself "man what is this place..... Why am I here...?" My spectral body floated around for a bit before noticing something moving in the black abyss I was hesitant but I moved closer and saw a large cloaked figure was haunched over... I shook a bit slightly terrified but then it felt like it knew I was there and then the figure Rose.... God it was tall even taller then me towering at possibly seven to eight feet... Then the figure turned around and faced me.I gasped it was a skeleton monster like sans and papyrus but.... He seemed broken.... Like a clock that wouldn't run properly at first he spoke out but it was a blur of unrecognizable sound but he walked closer and tapped one of his bony fingers right were my heart was "Can you understand me now?" He said in a rather deep voice it sounded hollow and lonely.... "Y-yeah...." I shakily replied back "good... This isn't a dream of yours.... A part of you traveled here.... Called on by me but you were still awake.... Part of your soul is here because I must teach you" "teach me what?" I asked "you avoided a key monster earlier that would have taught you a bit about certain types of attacks" he spoke and leaned forward "um.... I'm kinda on the not want to fight side er sir...." I called him sir because it felt appropriate for his look "yes.... It's good that you do not want to fight young man but..... There are some fights you will not be able to escape" he spoke as both his sockets lit up one was red the other was blue like sans "oh great...." They snuffed out becoming black again "don't worry.... I'm not here to harm you.... As I mentioned before I must teach you" "okay..... What're these attacks I need to be informed about?" His eyes lit up again and we entered battle
I was a bit shaky since I was unarmed but I trusted his words on this being a type of training "these attacks are colored they are the RED and BLUE attacks, for blue attacks you must remain stationery" he hurled a blue bone at me "U-um!" I was extremely scared but I stood still as the bone just phased through me harmlessly "o-oh..." "Yes.... Blue attacks come in many forms it can be bones or it could be other means of attacking but the red attack is different and a bit more tricky" I shifted a bit as he spoke "the red attack requires that you move through the attack" he hurled a single red glowing bone at me I was frozen a bit "move quickly! Just hurls yourself into the red attack!" I didn't move but the next second hurt "Hnng!" The red bone smacked me dead in my spectral face leaving a nasty mark "t-that hurt man...."
"Alright now what" "now we begin with the real training! Prepare yourself!" His expression changed to a fierce one "if you wish to survive in the underground you must survive this battle.... If I strike you down here your soul will be halved and your physical body will fall into a coma!" My eyes widened "wait wait!" It was too late
The skeleton hurled bones at me like no tomorrow at blinding speed "hoky sh-!"
I dodged several of these normal attacks and then saw a floating skeletal head appear before it blasted a beam at me as several blue bones appeared where I went dodging the blaster I froze as they phased through me "yes! Your speed is a great asset but will you survive?" The attack seemed relentless and mercy was off the table here as I dodged more attacks moving through red bones phasing through me but I accidentally took a hit from a blaster and became severely damaged but I kept moving but this time a saw a few green bones fly at me. The skeleton was observing with each attack what I would do but I ran straight into the green bones as they didn't phase through me but were absorbed into my body "woah!" My damaged spectral body healed quickly from this and I felt energized as the attack went on
The skeleton finally ran out of juice and fell to his knees "well done...." I walked over to him "are you alright?" "Don't worry about me worry about yourself I am of no importance" I frowned "are you sure? I didn't even get your name or ask what this place is." He looked up at me with a sick smile "all in good time boy.... All in good time...." He raised one of his hands and the pitch black abyss around me turned white

However, when you spoke of a person with a green striped shirt, it was confusing. That must've been Chara, correct?
But Chara is dead. At the end of the genocide run, they tell you that you awoke them from their death when you fell underground. They wouldn't have been See More▼ able to push the protagonist if they were dead. A bit illogical for part of it, but a good story nonetheless.
